We fly you and your camp from Kenai directly into an area in which we have scouted abundant game. Game concentrations can vary on location from one year to the next. SUPER-CUB CARIBOU HUNT

Same hunt as the one camp caribou hunt with the addition of a shuttle via tundra-tire Super-cub aircraft. This allows us to place hunters in areas otherwise inaccessible by float planes. Excellent Success rates!!

This is a great hunt on Kodiak Island.  There is a resident herd of caribou, and a large population of Sitka Blacktail deer on the island.  The season opens on August 1st, and goes through the end of December.  This hunt allows for 1 caribou and 2 deer per hunter. We suggest a minimum of 5 days for this hunt.

SUPERCUB FLOAT HUNT (MOOSE, CARIBOU, BLACK BEAR)

The most recent addition to our trophy hunts.  On this hunt we fly via Super Cub to the most “out of reach” areas, floating tributary streams in big Moose country with little or no other hunting pressure.  10 days of raft included.  Add $75.00 for any days over 10.  (8 to 10 days recommended)  Party of 2 or more. 

SPECIAL HUNT (MOOSE, CARIBOU, BLACK BEAR)

Hunt in unit 17B, 19B or 9B.  This is a one camp hunt, although many times hunters bag both species in one area. This hunt has our highest success rate for trophy moose. (7 day hunt recommended) Party of 2 or more.

DUCK HUNTING CABINS

Prices will vary depending on unit location and air time.  Alaska West Air maintains a permanent base camp in the hunting region.  This enables us to provide periodic checks on your hunting party and its progress, weather providing.  We find this is a good safety measure and is a service rarely provided by other Alaskan air services.

IMPORTANT:  Non-resident hunters are required to have a guide or be accompanied by an Alaskan relative over 19 years of age, within the second degree of kindred, when hunting goat, Dall sheep or Grizzly bear.

Non-resident Moose and Caribou hunters are required to view videos titled “Field Care of Big Game” and “Is This Moose Legal”, for hunts in some units in Alaska.  We do drop hunts in these units.  The video is available from Alaska Department of Fish and Game.  If you have booked a Moose or Caribou hunt, you need to view the video.

Booking / Cancellation Policy:  A 50% deposit is required to confirm a booking.  The balance is due before you go into the field.   Alaska West Air does not accept credit cards for hunts.  
Hunts cancelled 90 days or more from the start date will be refunded the amount of the deposit less a 10% fee, unless the person canceling the hunt fills the vacancy.  In that case a 100% refund of the deposit would be made.   Hunts cancelled 89 days or less  from the start day of the hunt will not be refunded, unless the person canceling the hunt fills the vacancy, in which case a 100% refund of deposit would be made.
